A man’s wish.

I received this email and I thought it was so hilarious I just had to share it here….

A man was sick and tired of going to work every day while his wife stayed home.He wanted her to see what he went through so he prayed:

‘Dear Lord:I go to work every day and put in 8 hours while my wife merely stays at home.I want her to know what I go through. So, please allow her body to switch with mine for a day.Amen!’

God, in his infinite wisdom, granted the man’s wish.
The next morning, sure enough, the man awoke as a woman. He arose, cooked breakfast for his mate,
Awakened the kids,Set out their school clothes,Fed them breakfast,Packed their lunches,Drove them to school,Came home and picked up the dry cleaning,Took it to the cleanersAnd stopped at the bank to make a deposit, Went grocery shopping,Then drove home to put away the groceries,Paid the bills and balanced the check book.He cleaned the cat’s litter box and bathed the dog. Then, it was already 1.00pm.And he hurried to make the beds,
Do the laundry, vacuum,Dust,And sweep and mop the kitchen floor.

Next he Ran to the school to pick up the kids and got into an argument with them on the way home.Set out milk and cookies and got the kids organized to do their homework. Then, set up the ironing board and watched TV while he did the ironing.

At 4:30 he began peeling potatoes and washing vegetables for salad, breaded the pork chops and snapped fresh beans for supper. After supper, He cleaned the kitchen,Ran the dishwasher,Folded laundry,Bathed the kids,And put them to bed.

At 09 P.M .He was exhausted and, though his daily chores weren’t finished, he went to bed where he was expected to make love, which he managed to get through without complaint. The next morning, he awoke and immediately knelt by the bed and said: –

‘Lord, I don’t know what I was thinking.I was so wrong to envy my wife’s being able to stay home all day. Please, oh! Oh! Please, let us trade back.Amen!’

The Lord, in his infinite wisdom, replied:

‘My son, I feel you have learned your lesson and I will be happy to change things back to the way they were.
You’ll just have to wait nine months, though.
You got pregnant last night.’   🙂

Remember…a layer of dust protects the Wood beneath it.

A house becomes a home when you can write ‘I love you’ on the furniture IN THE DUST!!  Life is short.Enjoy it!

Dust if you must, But wouldn’t it be better to paint a picture or write a letter, bake cookies or a cake and lick the spoon or plant a seed, ponder the difference between want and need?

Dust if you must, But there’s not much time . . . .with bubbles to drink, rivers to swim and mountains to climb, music to hear and books to read, friends to cherish and life to lead.

Dust if you must, But the worlds out there with the sun in your eyes, the wind in your hair, a flutter of snow, and a shower of rain. This day will not come around, again.

Dust if you must, But bear in mind, old age will come and it’s not kind. …And when you go – and go you must – you, yourself will make more dust!

AND last but not the least……
It’s not what you GATHER, but what you SCATTER that tells what kind of life you have lived….SO why gather the dust when you can scatter the love and enjoy your life???

nice thoughts!!

Prayer is not a spare wheel that you pull out when YOU ARE IN TROUBLE, It is a steering wheel that keeps you on the right path throughout your life..

Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we’re here we should dance….

Never believe what the lines of your hand predict about your future, because people who don’t have hands also have a future… Believe in yourself..

You don’t stop laughing because you grow old, You grow old because you stop laughing…

1st Anniversary.

Hi friends,

Today is exactly a year since I started blogging .I have truely enjoyed putting pen to paper and jotting my thoughts and feelings, together with any forwards , shayris ,poems and thoughts that my friends have shared with me that have truely touched my heart.

Since I hve started blogging, I am always looking for inspiration to continue my jottings. Writing in this blog is very therapeutic especially when my feelings are pent up and I need to release them.

But most importantly I feel that with out the lovely friends who support me , who come and read my blog and inspire me to continue writing, I would have not been motivated enough to reach this anniversary.

So a big heart felt thanks to all you lovely friends for visiting and leaving your comments behind.

Thanks , its most appreciated!!.

Shayad aap ne ….

Door rehaneka gila mat karo,
Pass rehne se koi rishta khaas nahi hota.
Aap dil ke kareeb hain itne ,
Ki duriyo ka ehasaas nahi hota.

Ek pal ka ehassas bankar aate ho tum,
Dusre hi pal khusboo ki tarah ud jate ho tum,
Jaante ho daar lgata hai tanhayion se hume,
Firr bhi tanha chod jate ho tum.

Khwabone palko par aana chod diya,
Hasine hoto par thirakana chod diya,
Aab to nahi aati hichakiya bhi,
Shayad aap ne yaad karna chod diya…
